Service Description

BuildRadar is a building intelligence platform designed for maintenance contractors. We aggregate public building data from NYC Open Data sources and provide scored leads, violation tracking, and territory-based prospecting tools to help contractors find and win new business.

Territory Exclusivity

BuildRadar offers territory exclusivity on a per-ZIP-code basis. When you subscribe and select your territory:

  • Only one company per trade category may hold a given ZIP code at any time.
  • Exclusivity is tied to an active, paid subscription. Your territory is reserved for as long as your subscription remains current.
  • If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your territory becomes available to other subscribers.
  • Territory availability is shown on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not guarantee that any specific ZIP code will be available at the time of signup.

Subscription and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Upon cancellation, your territory exclusivity is released and your access to premium features will end at the close of the paid period.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days written notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
  • You may not share your account or territory access with other companies or individuals outside your organization.

Data Accuracy Disclaimer

BuildRadar aggregates data from publicly available sources including NYC Open Data, PLUTO, HPD, DOB, and DOHMH. While we work to keep data current and accurate, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any building data, scores, or recommendations provided through the platform. All data is provided on an "as-is" basis. You should independently verify any information before making business decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute BuildRadar data to third parties or competing services.
  • Attempt to circumvent territory exclusivity restrictions.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildRadar and Cooper River LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, lost revenue, or damages arising from reliance on building data or lead scores. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued for the current billing period. We will provide notice before termination except in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
